In 15-3A looks like Hooks and in 16-3A Linden-Kildar I heard that Redwater wont be even though it would really help them but I was told that they have been growing in numbers from people moveing out of the Texarkana area.But that is just a rumor.

I think it is sad that Newton will have to go down. Celina will have to step down from their position as *king*.

There's a couple schools from 17-3A that may be dropping to 2A. Troy and McGregor may both have the numbers to fall.

I really hope Newton does because if not they may in up in a district that includes Jasper, WOS, Silsbee, Bridge City, and then rest of the teams Newton has been mauling for years. They might struggle just to make the playoffs. Bridge City already has more than twice there attendance, and are still going to get beat this year. Can't wait to watch that game.

A message to eagle fan 01....Bridge City has 786 enrollment and is 18th in size in 3A the UIL listed Newton at 440 something enrollment. If they up the enrollment cut off, WOS will in fact be one of the very largest in 3A. I too look forward to the Bridge City/Newton game-one of, if not the best 3A game in the state! Its for the District title;however we are both going after the State Title in our respective Divisions. Barber Hill looks like your only stiff competion in Div II (Region III&IV). Best of Luck-except on Nov. 2!

I believe Crane's enorllment is in the low 340's. I think they would be a dynamite 2A school.

I hear rumors that Ballinger is going down. Will make room for Snyder in 5-3A if they do.

I wouldnt overlook Sweetwater in Div 2 playoffs. Also, dont be shocked if Forney does end up D2 because it COULD still happen. Regardless of where Forney goes, Commerce will go D2. It isnt going to be easy for Newton that is for sure.
