Graham seems to have the most trouble with the teams they should beat handily, especially as a top-ten team

Its the 1st halfs that are killing them, its like night and day

how many times does the swing pass have to be tried and failed for the offensive coordinator to stop running it. It was incomplete at least 3 times and went for no more than 2 yards the rest of the time. The game should not have been this close.

Several times this season we have gone the length of the field, then when we get in the red zone we run a play we never run and it turns into a disaster. I guess we think we'll surprise the other team. There are 3-4 proven playmakers on the offense. Give them the ball inside the 20!

I bet we have left an average of 14 points a game on the field.

On a positive note, we finally threw to the middle of the field with very positive results.

My apologies. I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings. Just making an observation. As fans, we sometimes expect perfection, which, of course, is not possible. Fans need to be critical thinkers, however, and not just accept whatever their team does as wonderful. That is the path to mediocrity.

We have a fine coaching staff that does a great job of motivating and preparing the players. I've been watching Graham football for years and the last three years we are playing the most exciting style of offense/defense I have seen us play.

my only gripe is it takes too long to make adjustments. Why cant they be made BEFORE halftime? Its like two completly teams from the 1st and 2nd halfs. Against a good team, waiting until the 2nd half to make these adjustments will get you beat. I do agree with you about the swing pass though, it didnt work all night long. Im kinda worried about getting into the redzone and coming up with no points. Is Coach McCoy going to go for it on 4th down everytime? A fg would be nice, instead of turning over the ball on downs..(but I also understand there FG kicker isnt that great either). Either way 4-0 is nice:D

You are exactly right, we do have a fine coaching staff and Jeff woud be more than willing to discuss your ideas with you. He will be home tomorrow after visiting an uncle in ICU in Abilene this afternoon. He will beback at the field house right after church until about 8 pm tomorrow night.
