If you're going through Cameron, the Lone Star Cafe is good, along with the Rustic Corral. If you're going through Rockdale, the Kountry Inn off of 79 is pretty hard to beat, and they're having a catfish buffet today I believe. (At least they have every other Friday for as long as I can remember.)

in Cameron Bob's Steakhouse was very good in my opinion, don't know how long it takes though...don't go to the Texan Cafe though!!!
