OK lets kick this off - not smart enough to do a poll or smart enough to deny I'm a Bears fan. This should be a good game.

A really good Cowboys offense versus a really good Bears defense. A shaky Bears offense versus a shaky Cowboys defense. This comes down to home field advantage to me.

Before the Grossman hating begins, the Cowboys haven't exactly faced an offensive juggernaut yet and have given up a ton of points. The Bears barely put up 20 against Kansas City who ain't exactly a powerhouse defense.

Don't know if Romo can put together 16 good games this year - his escapiness (is that a word? if not I want to copyright it) scares me with the Bears agressive defense. The Bears have a great o-line and should be interesting to see if they can run against Dallas. Thoughts - belittling comments - any other luv for da Bears?

I think D forces Grossman to beat em and he won't. Take away the run force Grossman to throw. On the other side of the ball is where it gets interesting to me.

Da Bears played good D. Can they stop all of the Boys O for four quarters? Dallas has the edge in the kicking game.

The Dolphins offense is better than the Bears, and Trent Green looked horrible...I'm expecting a low-scoring game that is won by a great play by a quarterback in the fourth quarter, so I'm leaning toward Dallas because I like Romo's chances to come up with a big play better than Chicago's.

I'll go with:

Dallas 17
Chicago 10

Dallas 27 - Bears 13

Dallas offense will be slowed somewhat but the defense won't have any problems with the Chicago offense. Terrell Owens, Romo and Barber all score for Dallas, Chicago gets 2 FGs and a Hester return sets up a very short field for their only TD....

If the Cowboys offense can be patient and stay away from the mistakes, they have a good chance of getting the win. Special teams must do another good job on coverage and the defense must stop the run, thus forcing Grossman to beat their secondary. Bears have the advantage of playing at home, but the Cowboys get a break playing this early in the season. Weather shouldn't be a major factor.

Dallas 17
Bears 13

I will take Dallas in this one. I think we will have just enough Offense to grind it out. Special teams and turnovers will probably determine this game. I look for Jason Witten to be a difference maker.

I love all the love but the Bears are in a hard spot. They have to perform at some point and on Sunday Night I hope the boys play well cause if they don't da bears win.

if boys go over 20 they win, no doubt. grossman is garbage, and if we can get a couple of those guys healthy on D, it won't be pretty. special teams better friggin cover too! not real worried there, Mcbriar is easily the most consistent player on the team, he can put it anywhere

Dallas 31
Chicago 17

A little pressure on Grossman will amount to more interceptions for the Cowboys secondary. The offense will have another great game.

Slow down a little guys. I'm just as much of a COWBOYS fan as anyone, but I don't know if they can score over 20 on the bears. I think the COWBOYS win it in the 4th quarter with a TD pass from Romo to Crayton. COWBOYS 16 bears 10

Chicago 10

ASUfrisbee stud. Let me know what kind of happy pills you are on and I'll buy you (and me) some.

For those of you who think Romo is a stud of a quarterback - wasn't he 14 - 27 against the fish? That isn't exactly setting the world on fire. Romo does exactly what Grossman does. Wins games. Think of this - Grossman has only lost 4 games out of the last 21. 17-4 is pretty good in any league.

You don't have to be pretty to win. otherwise my wife never would have married me. Bears 14-13 - they intercept Romo on the final drive of the game.

ps - Whitten scares me alot more than TO does............

He's had some pretty good numbers, and he doesn't drop near as many passes. Teams just keep letting him roam the center of field all day long.

Devin Hester has to be good for 6 points. I think the Bears will
score more than in the teens. Keep in mind Dallas is playing
Chicago not Miami or NY Giants. I think this game will be decided
by 7 points our less with both teams in the twenties. My pick
Chicago.

ROFLOL...you can't be serious...

Grossman's TD-to-INT Ratio is 1-3 this year, 24-23 combining last year and this year. His completion percentage for his career sits at 54.5%.

Romo's TD-to-INT Ratio is 6-1 this year, 25-14 combining last yaer and this year. His completion percentage for his career sits at 63.8%.

crzy - never said Grossman was as good as or better than Romo - what I said was the Bears win with him. What is Romo's W/L record since he started starting last year?

I would take Romo in a heartbeat over Grossman - Romo has mojo - but that said the bottom line is W's baby.

Also, those who think the Boys can drop a 30 spot on the Bears are on human growth hormones. Gonna be a great game.
