I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that many schools have that slogan. I know I've been to several schools who use that one. LaVega has been using it for years and years.

Didn't mean they were the only school. Just a good slogan.

You talking about the one up here by Dallas? I think it says AHMO on their jerseys. I've seen that one used by my high school many years ago as well.

Either "Football In December" or "The Heat is a Crippling Thing"

The second one applies to so much more than just football.

Back in Forney's final years in 3A when I was in school, there was a joke around the city about the school song.

The real words started "We'll be true forever..."

After losing to the eventual state champs in baseball and football for a few years in a row, some of the students started chanting "We'll be two forever..."

I don't know if it's still there, but when Coach Brittain was in Vernon we had a sign going out of the fieldhouse that said "The desire to win is useless...without the desire to prepare".
