lol

Unimpressive. If the score was higher, you would be jumping on the no class-running up the score bandwagon

Other than that, nice list

Other than that, nice list we'll see. I predict the same ole story...go 10=0 in district and get whacked in the first round.

Actually, it was 9-1 these past two years. And RH made it to the second round each year, shutting out both teams.

2005 RH v Orange Grove 18-0

Lost to Ingleside pretty badly the next game:D

2006 RH v Raymondville 47-0

Lost to Cuero the next game. RH held Cuero to the least amount of points they had all year. RH lost 21-8, but it was alot closer than it looked. RH stalled out in the red zone a few times. The score was 7-0 until late in the second. So whacked in the first round is inaccurate

Yep. They did not come out strong, I agree. The game looked ugly. Line could not hold, backs were not doing so well. Defense was just about normal.

The weather had alot to do with that. The field was torn up not even halfway into the first quarter. I mean it was a mud pit. Any team would would falter playing on the field the way it was. But the fact that RH faltered and still came out on top.

What I am saying is if RH would have played their top game, and scored 60+ points, people would have been all over them for running up the score on a defenseless 2 year old program. RH didn't, and it is unimpressive. That is all I am saying.

30-3A will be a dogfight for all teams. I know Ingleside is the "class" of the district, but I think ALL the teams are much improved this year and will compete hard.

PORT ISABEL — The Port Isabel Tarpons got back to .500 by beating the Valley View Tigers 44-0 Fri-day night at Tarpon Stadium.

The Tigers (0-3) actually played Port Isabel (2-2) even for almost the entire first quarter before Tarpon quarterback David Alaniz (nine carries, 51 yards and two TDs) broke free for a 21 yard scamper for six points with eight seconds left in the opening stanza.

Valley View fumbled on their next offensive play and PI took advantage in a hurry on a 48 yard Nolan Nuñez (14 carries, 167 yards and two TDs) run he took to the house.

Just like that, in 26 seconds, the Tarpons had a two touchdown lead and the rout was on.

“Our defense played well enough to win the game,” Valley View coach David Evans said. “But our of-fense fell apart and turned the ball over too much.”

PI tacked on two more scores before the half on another Alaniz scoring run (two yards) and a remark-able defensive play by linebacker Osiel Perales.

Valley View fullback Johnathan Molina received a carry on a quick dive play up the middle and was dragging a big pile, trying to gain extra yards when Perales charged into the fray and ripped the ball out.

The force of the strip actually caused Perales to fall to the ground, but he jumped back to his feet, scooped up the pigskin and sprinted 40 yards towards the goal line. After picking up a block from James Delgado, Perales rambled into the end zone for a 28-0 lead.

Perales led the Tarpon defense in a terrific shutout performance that allowed only 76 total yards, four first downs and forced three turnovers.

“We played some good defense tonight,” Port Isabel coach Monty Stumbaugh said. “It looked like Osiel (Perales) played great tonight, and we were able to get some turnovers and get back on track.”

Nuñez added another score (35 yards) in the second half and backup running back Angel Ramirez capped the game on a three yard plunge with 3:22 left in the game.

Diego Garcia also had a solid outing for the Tarpons, churning out 67 yards on nine carries.
