Hutto will have to play better than they have in the first 3 weeks. They are young at so many positions, they will have to grow up this week if we are going to have a chance to beat Giddings.\

Their field has to be one of the worst in regards to drainage.

Hutto's weakness so far has been their pass 'D'. Fortunately, Giddings prefers to use Fitz's legs.

you mean since you played on it? it was redone before the 06 season, so it drains very well now...

how can hutto be considered overrated when they havent played Giddings yet? Lets play Giddings before you call us overrated. And lets see if we win and or if we lose a close game. I dont think a 7-14 point loss to giddings would make us overrated, especially considering they are #1 right now. Hutto and Giddings have had some good games the past few years. I hope for another great game Friday

While I agree that your prediction on the score may be correct(or even under estimated) I do not think Hutto is experiencing any "overratedness,,,) whatever that is. They just happen to be playing the #1 team in 3A in Texas. If they lose by 3TD's or more, they should, they are playing the best team in the state.

I don't think Hutto is overrated at all. Didn't their good qb graduate last year? If they found someone to fill his shoes I'd imagine the Hippos are a solid team.... But I do think that Giddings will win this one. How is Hutto still in 3a, hasn't Hutto gotten a lot bigger in the last five years? I'm not trying to start anything... just curious.

Hutto will be 4a next year. Right now they are the biggest school in 3a. They have 4a numbers now but you have to wait for the next alighnment for Hutto to be put in 4a. Which if you ask me, Austin area 4a schools arnt that good. Hutto sould do just fine next year. Those Pflugerville schools are good tho.

Hutto will dominate in either 4A district they get put into...in 4 years, if not 2, i bet they will move up to 5A then they might have problems

Just my two cents, the giddings field looks real good. I can't say if I have seen it during a really wet game or not, probably not since it was re-done. But the professionals that came in and changed the grass and re-graded the field did a great job. This grass has performed better than any we have ever had. By the way when I played in Rockdale years ago, it was like playing on concrete, kinda like manor's old field.

trying to make sure that I DVR all the appropriate news channels....what stations are expected. I heard one last night say that it was their game of the week, I got them on the list. Anybody heard of any. I would expect a playoff atmosphere at this one, those are fun ones when overall record is only thing at stake, but all the excitement and intensity is there like is a playoff game. Good football.
