Cards are looking tough!! I like it! Go Columbus! Make me not regret putting you in my top 25! LOL.

Wasn't Halletsville supposed to have a pretty stout team this year?

Couldn't tell you, 'Former.' I know Halletsville was coming off of a win against Refugio, who I think was ranked fairly high in 2A, but not certain.

The Cards have next week off, then open district play against district favorite Needville.

H'vlle lost by a point to state ranked Refugio last week. I thought they would blow the Cardinals away. I'm shocked but glad to see Columbus back on a winning track.

I though Halletsville lost to Refugio? Bellville is off in 2 weeks last year we came to see the Columbus Needville game, C town sould have won that one.

My mistake, I was back in Columbus the other night, and someone told me H'ville beat Refugio. Regardless, this is a solid win for Columbus heading into district play. It's an interesting district this year, one with alot of question marks. Could see some crazy things. Best of luck to the Cards, this could be the year they head back to the playoffs.
