Yanks go into Fenway down 5.5 games behind the Sox. No way to make it all up but a sweep at home would really hurt the Sox. The last series was a Yanks sweep and they will be hungry to do it again.
Will A-Rod continue to be the best player in baseball?
Will Posada continue to be the best catcher in baseball?
Will Wang be a Cy Young Candidate?
Will Clemens be able to stitch himself together and play?
I HOPE THEY ALL PLAY LIKE BUMS!!!!!!!!!!!
GO SOX!!!!
MAGIC NUMBER IS NOW 11!

Would be a great race if the Yankees happened to sweep. Can't stand either one, but it does make it fun to watch.

Magglio Ordonez is the best player in baseball.
Ivan Rodriguez is the best catcher in baseball.
Justin Verlander is a Cy Young candidate.
Go Sox sweep the bums. Go Tigers sweep the Twins. :D

Agree with Magg-O...
Disagree with Pudge, (though tough cause I like him. Maybe the BIG Pudge, but not the Little Pudge of today). ;)
Verlander or my choice, Beckett.
And yeah, if the Sox take care of business then the door for the Tigers swings wide open.

He's an excellent battery mate. He's still got a rocket launcher
for an arm. His bat and running speed are what's deteriorating.

My second and only other favorite MLB team is the Texas Rangers.
Does that make me like a double homer?

Yeah, I have been talking it up on the other board a lot. Doesn't seem to be much interest in Bridgeport here.
I will post a few comments!

90+ pitches for Shilling should have been a red flag in front of Francona.
Especially with runners on 2nd and 3rd in a 1-1 game in the 8th.
*sigh*
This is a broken record this year.
