WOS87 has graciously allowed us to use his team histories for all current 3A teams. On each region page, there is now a link called "Team Histories" (to the right of the district links) that brings up a links page to each of the team's individual histories. Many thanks to WOS87.

That is a HUGE contribution. No one has that kind of info. WOS87 has spent years and years accumulating all this information. Thanks WOS87. I know that I really appreciate it.

the fact that the man has created images for it by saving screen shots, editing the picture, loading it into tinypic or imageshack and then producing a picture url is incredible

De nada...

It's info I wish had been more freely available 20 years ago, so I set it as kind of a long-term hobby/goal back then to remedy the situation as best I could. I compile all of my stuff purely for my own enjoyment, and in being able to share it with others. I've never made a dime off of any of it and really don't plan to.

I don't mean to complain, but I can't see them they are too small, once you click on it.

After you click on which ever schools page, you have to make it bigger yourself with either your mouse or depending on which version if IE you have, therre should be an icon towards the bottom of the page that you can click on.

There is an option you can unclick in your "internet options" menu where the images will appear at their normal size.

In Internet Explorer 6.0 go to the Tools menu at the top, click on Internet options, choose the Advanced tab, and then scroll down about half way to the Multimedia section and there's a button that's checked by default called "Enable Automatic Image Resizing". If you uncheck it, all of the images should be visible right from the start when you link to them.

If you're not using Internet Explorer, there's a similar feature in almost every other browser out there, you just have to look for it in your options menu and sometimes it's called something a little different.

I reworded the "instructions", let me know if they aren't clear enough.

UPDATE: I'm not sure where the best place is to put notifications of updates to the histories but for the moment I'll post it here. For Palestine fans, I've completely expanded the Palestine history back another 20 seasons to 1968. I was trying to get back to your State Championship season but ran out of time this morning. I'll tack on those 4 additional seasons to make it back to 1964 hopefully in the next day or two. It's accessible as always through the link off of the Region III main page, but here's a direct link to the updated image:

Palestine (1968-2006) (http://idisk.mac.com/cboehme69-Public/thsf/palestine86-06.gif)

I hadn't realized Palestine was the equivalent of 5A for 6 seasons back from 1968-1973.

1970 jumps out at me. The fact that they pulled out a winning season and a 4-2 district record in THAT district when they had to have been one of the smallest schools in the classification is pretty impressive. I don't know of any other current 3A program that can say they beat Longview, Lufkin, Marshall and John Tyler in the same season.
