I just read his post in the "toughest schedule" thread. Can't speak for him, so I don't know what he means, either. But, I haven't heard of any kids leaving the team, so it can't be that...
In fact, the kids are pretty optimistic about their chances this year. All of the preseason talk about how bad they will be seems to be a motivating factor for them.

Some kids did not come out and 4 have quit on the jv team. The jv will have small numbers this year.
