Hank Williams Jr.
Charlie Daniels
Faron Young
The Marshall Tucker Band
Marty Robbins
Roger Miller

Songs you're not proud of for me are usually sappy love songs that get stuck in your head. Paul Mccartney - silly love songs

I used to like this song when it first came out.

Eiffel 65 - I'm Blue

After about 2 weeks of listening to it someone told me it says in the song "I'm blue I'm in need of a guy."

So........I'm an idiot for singing along with it. (I'm not sure what words I was singing but they weren't those).

SWMustang
09-11-2007, 09:59 AM
that's interesting Darren. I was discussing with another "old dude" (OK mid 30's) and we talked about all the bands that leaned a certain way and how oblivious we were to that.

Erasure
New Order
Fun Boy Three ( as naive as I was - I knew they were "different")

GreenMonster

Hangin' Tuff by New Kids On The Block

We're the drunks of CHS and we're on the move again.....BEER BEER BEER!!!!

Did anyone ever since that?? I know that we sang it to whatever our fight song tune was.....funny thing, Crane's fight song is the same tune and I heard some Crane people singing that SAME song in the concession stand last Friday!!!:p :p

NKOB - AWESOME pick!!!! You could expand that further to all the "boy bands" although I don't know any of the newer generation (N sync and Backdoor boys) lyrics.

Marshall Tucker - good song. Try these lyrics on for size:

You're sort of everything I ever wanted
You're not perfect - but I love you anyhow
You're the woman that I always dreamed of
Well not really - but you're good enough for now

Can't Take My Eyes Off You
As performed by Frankie Valli
Reached #2 on the Top 40 charts on 6/3/67

You're just too good to be true,
Can't take my eyes off of you
You'd be like heaven to touch,
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived,
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true,
Can't take my eyes off of you.
