116 boys out for football this year. Total enrollment around 550. In years past they averaged about 90 so this is up. Credit Coach Walker and his assistants for bringing the boys out to play. 28 seniors, 7 juniors and 4 sophomores on varsity for 39 total. 7 starters return on D and 1 on O. O line averages 243lbs. Several talented backup players from last season have moved into starting roles and should give the Leps the needed leadership for a winning season. I am optimistic that this team will surprise some folks this season.
