Great TCU fullback Tommy Crutcher lived in Port Isabel

At least I think he did because that is where he died in 2002. He was a great fullback/linebacker at TCU and was a key player in the great TCU upsets of Texas and Ohio State in 1961. I wonder if any of the downlow friends from the valley ever met him. RIP Mr. Crutcher.

I lived in Port Isabel until 1999, and I never knew this guy while I was there.

Chances are, he moved there after 1999.
