Actually, we're looking at alternative ways of obtaining a top 25. Some folks might be shy about giving a list, but not about voting.

Just a question as to how this might work...

Let's assume that we have 40 teams to vote for, and everybody votes for their top 25.

Most likely, Celina and Liberty Hill would show up on EVERYBODY's top 25, so they'd have the same number of votes...would they be tied then?

Actually, picking 2 people from each region that have shown to have true football knowledge as evidenced by their posting. Some that come to mind are: G2 ( :eek: ), Old Green, crabman, rixey, txbroadcaster, b44, etc... Have them compile a top 25 list. Use their picks and have y'all vote on ONE option for #1, #2, etc....

and if I didn't mention your name, don't get all offended ... i was just going off the top of my head and we all know how muddled that can get :p

Here's my thoughts on voting like this, for what they're worth.

1) People don't read directions. :p
2) The only choices you get are the ones you're given.
3) Sorry, but there will be pissing and moaning if someone's team is not one the list to vote.
