Ingleside -vs- PLC

I have not seen the Mustangs play this year but have been keeping up w/ their progress. I did get to see Port Lavaca Calhoun last week here in Needville where the Blue Jays defeated the Sand Crabs 28 to 14. Despite the loss, PLC looked pretty good considering what they have looked like traditionally. That being said, I think if the Mustangs come out, hold onto the ball and play Mustang football, they should win, if not, and they turn the ball over...we'll see a repeat of last year's game.

PLC has Yoakum next then Ingleside :) and Ingleside has a open week. But this should be a good matchup in two weeks.

This coming Friday is Ingleside's bye week. We play PLC on September the 21st.

I guess now we can talk more about this game. From what I heard, our RB Hill was practicing this week and we may get to see what he can do against PLC. I think Ingleside will be leaving QB Hull, in at the starting position and let Josh Coffield play the LB position on D and a WR or RB on offense. If all of our starters get to play against PLC it will give us a good measure on what we might be seeing before district games start.

PLC loses to another 3a team. Ingleside will be better prepared for this game than last year.

I'm a homer going for Ingleside. Think they are getting their heads on straighter. Look forward to it. And just hope it's an injury free game on both sides. Best of Luck to both teams BUT

yup...from what I've seen the Mustangs SHOULD win this one...but then again, they were heavy favs last year. We shall see...but I have a feeling Ingleside wins this one by at least 2 TDs.
