Will Clay set a new single game rushing record for Snyder High. The record had been held by his father Will Clay Jr. which was something like 290-295.

I agree, he broke the singe game rushing record for the Tigers.

Previous single game record holder: his father. :D

No doubt Will Clay should get it but he owes a tremendous credit to the O line and his FB Arrendale. Arrendale had like 16-18 cut blocks for clay. Arrendale needs to be a lumberjack when he graduates . Those guys from Herford were falling like trees.

Totally agree. He wouldn't have been able to do it without the blocking up front. A superb game from the O-Line and FB.

I agree, no running back can make that kind of yardage without a good OL and blocking back.

Clay's numbers are   Ha ha ha! you gotta be kidding.... anyone knows its way easyer to throw for 300+ yards than it is to rush for 300+ yards. dont believe me then just look at history. compare the QBs and 300+ yard games and then look at howmany RBs have rushed for 300+ yards. You will see that There are probably 3-4Xs as many QBs throwing for over 300 yards as there are RBs rushing for 300+ yards..... Clay I believe has 585 yards rushing in two games. if your not knocking Clays numbers in comparison to the argyle QB then im sorry but it kinda looked like you did.

Sounds like a fair comparison BM, it is tough to gain 300 yards on the ground. Seems like every so often, Snyder gets a running back that just tears it up. Its going to be fun to watch Clay the rest of the season. This could be a very special year for the Tigers.

Argyle played 4A Joshua

Harp is leading the DFW Metroplex in passing yards. He has yet to play a full game. 2 qtrs. against IP and 3 against Joshua. He threw for 5 touchdowns and rushed for one in 3 quarters against Joshua. NOT BAD.
