Stuck in Houston and can't get a score. Anyone know the outcome of this game?

Congratulations to the Leps. Now the suspensions are served and they will be back up to full strength for Sealy at home next week for Homecoming. Any details on the game? How did Allen do as Qb?

Keep in mind that Yoakum is HORRENDOUS this year, but a win's a win. Congrats, LG

Congrats to LG and the other teams in D23-3A. Looks to be a very competitive district.

Yes I have heard the same and realize that this win is not a big one except for the fact that the Leps played without 10 of there seniors most of whom were starters. Five of the six suspensions are now served with one remaining through the Sealy game. Three others are out with injuries and I don't know their status.

For a team to go out on the road and play their first game of the season (Lockhart was canceled due to lightening) basically short over half their seniors, mostly starters at that, is an accomplishment. Hopefully the Leps will continue to improve to be ready for the real competition in district play.

What is the story about this new coach @ Yoakum. Have been told he coached at the Colony near Houston, has two son"s
senior/soph that are good players. What offense are they running this year?

I thought someone said Dan Burk was the coach. If so, its shocking he hasn't gotten them off to a quicker start. Being scoreless in two games is unlike the Dawgs.

Yoakum has weak Jrs. and Srs. class so he is starting 7 sophs. Enough said. Nothing wrong with the coach .Consider he came to Yoakum in July. Every program has its ups and downs talent wise. Yoakum is presently in a down cycle but that wont last long. Yoakum has some very talented kids in Freshman and Soph. classes.

Yoakum is young and learning their new offense and defense. They should be fun to watch hopefully around district but I doubt it. If not, the following years they will be better.
