Thanks for the update. Glad to see we still have interested fans all over the state. LOL.

So, we've hit a down cylce. It might be around for another year. We've been through 'em before & we've always made it back.

I will say that I honestly think we may not score a point in pre-district. We've got Beeville, Port Lavaca & Robstown to play. Beeville @ Beeville is just gonna be ugly, I'm thinking PLC will be much like tonight & no telling what will happen in Robstown since they are playing some pretty decent ball.

I was actually a bit surprised at what PLC brought to the table. I figured w/ the loss of their bruiser QB from last year they'd be non-existant. Not the case. We did turn the ball over to them 3+ times tonight, once in our own endzone  but they were able to move the ball on us. We dodged two bullets w/ them inside our 20. 2 fumbles that could have been PLC scores. They had this little bitty runt QB (#10), the little dude can run, and hes hard-nosed!! I was shocked at how he could move the ball. they like to run the option. On the defensive side of the ball, they looked alright. We kept shooting ourselves in the foot more than their D manhandling us. #10 did get hurt in the 4th and went out of the game. Maybe you guys will see him, maybe not, but hes a tough little sucker!

Yes, 27 pts. LH beat us last year with less than that.

#1 Tapps 5a school in state though. I'll take a W and not look back.

Were they late qtr points or is that other team that good? I'm just curious. I know you guys don't normally give up that many points - nvm - I'll see what was updated on the game thread.

And Shepherd vs. Diboll wins the award for least publicized score of the night if in fact it was played Friday.

One tip: try refreshing your screen if you're not seeing all of the scores. Your browser will automatically save an image and instead of downloading the newest update, to optimize speed it will just automatically reload the old image that was saved in the browser cache.
