Bridgeport goes to 2-0 with a 26-10 win over Mineral Wells

Kinda of a crazy night.... I am looking for the stats anxiously.

Bridgeport has been known in the past for not having much of a defense... but plays to outscore the opponents.

Last week the D looked good. Tonight they looked great.

Two goalline stands, two interceptions, one fumble recovery, and not a touchdown allowed until the fourth quarter. I may have shorted them a couple of turnovers... need to see the stats to be sure. Awesome game for the Defense.

Offense looked decent to start the game, then got clicking as the game went on. The QB had some fantastic runs. Two TDs on the night for the O.

Special teams... WOW. What a difference this year. The first PAT attempt had a bad snap. After that, FGs and a PAT all good.

Kickoffs were great as were teh punts.

All in all, very happy in beating 4a Mineral Wells. Now we need to keep the momentum up for Prosper.
