The Jays D looked a little flat tonight. O turned to ball over several times including once in their own endzone, PLC fell on it for a score. Not a great showing for the Jays, but it's still a win. Was 28-14 at halftime. Wilkerson had 130yds and 2 TDs at the half. Did not hear a final stat count on him.

WAY TO GO JAYS!

Next week we have a bye. Thinking about going and seeing Wallis Brazos. Any other good games in the area?

We had 2 turnovers and they definitely hurt us. PLC had some turnovers too.

The thing people forget is, PLC is not the PLC of old. They have a coach and a system in place that is right for their kids. They believe in it and they execute it well. They lost a good Qb last year but there are still some very good players on that team. Their ILB #50 is a MAN.

They controlled the clock the entire second half but our defense allowed them exactly 0 points in the 2nd half and only 7 for the game. Our fumble in the EZ was the other TD.

Coach Whitaker at PLC has done a great job of turning that program around. You don't hang 76 points on someone in bi-district by being a bad team.

might everyone's soggy practice fields and rainy weather be the cause of such sloppy friday performances...

muddy fields surely cannot help coaches and players in their preparations.

It certainly doesn't help, maestro. Good point.
