Good Luck to the Pirates in the rest of the season :) SF - if you don't mind me asking and I don't mean anything negative by this, but I am just curious why the Ring boy didn't play QB this year? My husband thought maybe since you'll have a new coach, he wanted to start with the Sophomore and work with him.

I think that played a part Lorey and that we needed more help on the defensive side of the ball - still do. OMG ... I'm not gonna say much b/c I honestly didn't get to watch the game. I was trying to sell shirts. Thanks '66 for stopping by & buying a hat, sorry I couldn't chit-chat. ;)

I did notice we had some special visitors in the stands. I wonder why? :D

I agree with your quote on tex4a..."I don't really know if you can really count this as a "good win" for Gp, but hey it's a WIN!"

Not the same Sinton team of the past 5 years:(

I was going to, but they put up a fence so us Cat's wouldn't mark your territory. I looked over and saw you though. Saw Phil and 66 in the smoking lounge and talked with them a while

Some of your fans came over or at least I'm guessing they were misplaced Gp fans since they were wearing your t-shirt. :p

When I walked in at 6:20, I didn't see you and the gate was open. But at half time, the gate was closed, but I saw you there.

Hey Gp83 I did get to visit Coach Harris briefly after the game. I have known him since 1966 and he is a class act. I didn't know if I would ever get a chance to tell him again so I thanked him for his great career in coaching and teaching. He was gracious and answered that it had been fun.
A classy person.
Thank you again Coach.

Gracious, very gracious of you, Phil. Okay Pirates, sometimes a loss early in the season gets you ready to take yours the rest of the season. Let's go after it!

two weeks to prepare for the mighty trojans in beeville.

Lots of time to shake the loss off and get mad and get ready--great timing for an off week. Best of luck, Pirates!
