We walked away with a win, yall walked away with a beaten (3 in a row)...... Starting the season 0-2 isn't bad, if your team has the potential to turn the season around. Just like Snyder last year. I don't see yall doing the same, I bet you don't either.

As weak as our district is this year, and since three teams go, we probably will make the playoffs. Deserving or not. Plus we do have a whole bunch of youngster playing that should improve as the season goes along. You also have to remember we played two real good 4A teams that are loaded with seniors.
It's not what we are used to seeing at Sweetwater for sure, but it should get better. It's sure going to be a looooong season if it doesnt.

Actually Hereford made the state semi-finals maybe 5 years ago....they were 10-2 last year...they are not a bad 4A team

i thought Sweetwater would be down....I kind of saw just how down they are last night...Wichita Falls blew them out last week and I saw Wichita Falls get beat 50-19 last night...

Big Spring(Homecoming). We started last season 5-1. This year
it appears it's going to be 2-4. That's assuming we can match-up
against Big Spring and Borger.

Watching them play, its sems a matter of getting things to go their way. They are young and beat up somewhat.....so the confidence level is just not there yet.

They never gave up against Brownwood last night and they believe in the tradition set before them and want to keep it going.

Sweetwater won't be that bad....they are just playing teams who are out of their league right now......they'll be OK later in the season

True Matthew...Brownwood is very good this year and should make a run in the 4A playoffs.

Yeah we'll make the playoffs. Probably face Bridgeport in the
first round and who knows? Then we might play Iowa park in
the second round and who knows? Then we might play Snyder
in the third round and....am I getting ahead of myself?:D

Thats rediculous, but we wont go far at this rate....I cant remember the last time Sweetwater went 0-2 to start the season off.
