Last night I watched the great WNBA first game of the finals and saw Detroit win a good one over Phoenix 108 to 100. But when they showed the stands it looked like the areana was only 1/3 full. This is right! One third full for the first game of best three out of five games for the WNBA Championship! :eek:

DISGRACEFUL! :mad:

These are great basketball players and Diana Taurisi of Phoenix is considered to be the greatest female basketball player in the world (plus she is very pretty) and yet the stands were 2/3 empty. And I bet the ratings weren't good either.

Come on people! Let's fill those stands and support your team. And for the rest of you let's tune in to the remaining games on tv to help the ratings!

Get with it! This is for the championship!!

I watched parts of it simply to see the Pistons next head coach
in action. Unfortunately Phil there is a stereo-type attached to
those who attend WNBA games. That stereo-type will
probably doom the WNBA in terms of revenue.
