Some UT 2008 Soccer Recruits (Women's College Soccer)

I found out from my friend pantone159 that Texas has verbals from three of the best players in the USA for 2008. They all three play for the Southern California Eagles who won the Under US Youth Soccer National Championship in August by beathing the Dallas Texans 3 to 2 in a great match between two great teams.

The UT verbal recruits (remember this is non binding till official signing day) from this great teams are as follows:

Midfielder Courtney Goodson
Forward Amanda Lisberger
Goal Keeper Shaine Milheiser

Shaine is considered one of the top goalies at that level and I am delighed that we signed a great goalie.

Welcome to Austin Ladies!

Now I just hope we can get a few Texas soccer girls and maybe one or two from the Dallas Texan teams.

More good news! Parish Episcopal (Dallas) senior soccer player Lucy Keith has agreed verbally to play for Texas! Good news indeed. I will research more information. I do know she played for the Under 17 Dallas Texas that got second place this year in the National Championship game. Wonderful news indeed!
