Texarkana Liberty Eylau has one varsity player that has varsity experience from previous years, and she is a junior. All starters are juniors, except for one sophomore, and there are only two seniors on the squad, both with limited previous experience. So LE vb has been up and down so far this year. They have a lot of talent, but consistency and experience are needed right now. There is a lot of potential lurking in this group.
Texarkana Pleasant Grove is a perennial powerhouse, and although their "power" is a little down this year, I think their tradition and great skills will keep them very competitive. Their big hitter is a senior this year, and she is good. They graduated a lot.

I am impressed with how Coach Grisham finds a way year in and year out to restock the talent pool at Wimberley. We werent supposed to be real good this year with a good group just coming up at fresh/soph but now this team is supposed to be better than last years team. Wish our fball program can start producing like that.

Even though Caldwell's girls are 11-8, they've lost to at least five 5A schools and forced all but one into five games, which included Bryan, A&M Consolidated, Clearbrook and Belton.

The lost to Hutto, who I think will win state in 3A, but defeated perennial power, Jewett Leon who has won state in 2A numerous times.

They probably should be in the top 15, but of course records can deceive.
