What can you tell us about the Mabank kid?

Is this his first big game? Mabank is not usually a power house, what has changed there?

Mabank has been up and down .... the past 21 years their records were: (6-5)(5-6)(7-4)(?-?)(7-4)(9-2)(6-4)(4-6)(2-7-1)(1-8-1)(2-8)(6-4)(8-3)(3-7)(3-7)(5-6)(4-6)(2-8)(4-6)(5-5)(6-5)

for two, maybe 3 alignments they were up in 4A in a killer district with Ennis, Corsicana, etc.

in '91 Mabank & Forney played when both were in the 3A top 10, Forney at #2 behind SLC & Mabank at #9 ... Forney won that game 13-10 (i think)

as far as Browning, dont know anything about him ...

aT 6 8 about 290 he ought to. I watched him today in practice and he got a little better even today while I was watching. The coaching here really helps. The names Troy Franklin. Ya'll may remember his brother Tyler all state d end that had bone cancer in his leg. Found out Feb after we won state in 05 and spent the next year in surgery chemo and recovery. Had signed his papers to play on scholarship. When Troy went to see him they both knew he would never play again. Troy said he would finish it for him and get that Scholarship and play. Been a man on a mission ever since.
