For Dallas Stars fans...

Apparently there was a leak of the new jerseys by the Dallas select team that is sponsored by the Stars. There have been several reports confirming that these are the new jerseys that the Stars will be wearing this year. The Stars aren't planning on announcing the jerseys until the 14th of this month, but they were worn by the select team in a Labor Day tournament. well, the black would be a complete change since their secondary color has been green...also, there have never been numbers on the front of the jersey, and on the black jerseys they don't even have the stars logo!

hmm...I think I need to look at that thread when I get home tonight as I think my work filter was blocking out some of the pics. I only saw one pic and it was hard to tell if the kids were wearing white with green trim or black trim. I didn't read too many of the comments either...

Wow those suck...especially the black one. It looks like a HS basketball warmup jersey.

now those are from the select team jerseys, which are only replicas of the real ones...I'm hoping that they're missing some final touches...I'd like the black ones better if there was some green around the letters instead of solid gold.

Also, there have been no other pictures of the black jerseys...apparently people forgot to take pictures of the juniors team wearing them. I have a small suspicion that the black image above may be a photoshopped version of one of these:

actually this all came about because Reebok got involved...every team in the NHL is changing.
