GP being the larger school has nothing to gain by winning
Sinton cant say nothing after the drilling they got
both are hoping for a win
but per my previous postings
smack talk always comes back on ya
the victor here gets a win
the loser may find it hard to reach the playoffs
its early
Kinda like Baylor
if they dont beat Rice they aint winning 6
pretty early in the year for a season deciding game

I spent the morning dodging thunder showers in Aransas Bay with my cousin from GP. He didn't sound too impressed with the GP / King game. Said that the defense was given the ball a few times and that is how they scored. He also said that their OL is much like ours, so maybe it will be a good game.

Oh, and I think I will have two of them GP fans on our side of the stands folks so don't hate me. If they get too rowdy I will handle them.

I look for coach to change things up a bit.

50 yard line rows 18 and 19 I think. I started buying a block of 6 ticks a few years back. Our stands need to be expanded on both ends and on both sides of the field. The seat numbers are so close that my 5 year old takes up two spots almost......lol

Heckle away. They are pretty good sports. One was the starting QB when he played ball many years ago.

I know that I will be heckling them win or loose.

wasnt that film on the Forney thread of worst movies
I watched the high lights and errrrrrrr low lights on the internet

ouch the Sinton D was gutted
wasnt pretty
Cuero is good
a loss like that to start the year is tough
it will take 2-3 weeks to recover
hopefully in time for district
another blow out loss and the Pirates ship will flounder past 45 degrees
depending on the order of the dist schedule
Sinton could be behind the 8 ball by week 7
playing out the string the last 3 weeks
hopefuly for the Pi's they get some wins under their belt before OG and Ingleside
if so could make playoffs

I think this week will be better. My son says they have been working very hard in practice. It will be Parent's night this friday. They will be fired up and ready to go. The first home game for the Tom Allen era. He wants to win this game.

Going into our bye week after this game, I'll be praying for an injury free game & our first win! :thumbsup:

Beeville, Port Lavaca & Robstown round out our pre-district schedule.

I haven't heard anything about kids being dejected or disgruntled after the Cuero loss. They really believe in their leadership (Coach) and each other, so I think they'll be okay going forward as long as they keep the right attitude & continue to work hard.
