Needville plays Port Lavaca Calhoun at home this week. I plan on being there. My take based on what I know:

PLC was a 4a playoff team last year that crushed 3a Ingleside early in the season.

Needville won this game last year 32-14.

PLC lost a bunch of seniors including their stud QB.

My prediction this year:

Needville: 45
PLC: 7

Yeah Bluejays played Awesome the 1st 1/4 of play. Considering they only played for 1/4.

Just wondering how much PLC brings back from last season? (My DCTF is in the other room. :p ) They had a good year & possibly that mentality that's gained from winning might stick with them. :thinking:

He was big, strong and fast. He looked like a FB or LB taking the snaps. Their key to success was to run him right at the D. Needville's run def. was able to make him a non-factor last year. Even with him last year, Needville won 32-14. I think w/ PLC's losses to grad. and whatnot.. this side of a miracle from God...this one is going to be ugly. Anything can happen though!
