I wont be that shocked if Texas loses to TCU. I do however believe that the week of preparation in Austin will be a lot different this week and there will be a new found energy level at practice. Can you imagine the smack the players are gonna hear around campus? Can you imagine how loud and vocal Jeff Madden will be this week around the Moncrief-Nehaus(sp) Center?

yeah no kidding. Can you imagine the board of regent sup there and all the calls back and forth about whether to fire Carr now or after the season. I think this was his farewell tour at UM. They wont stand for that abysmal record up there against OSU. The only thing that might have been able to keep him around would have been a win against Tressel and crew but I dont think anything will save him now.

I can only base my opinion on last year, and I would have to say if their defense comes out like I've watched, then you bet, TCU has a dang good chance, if their O produces as well.

TCU definately has a chance. TCU's defense is strong and fast. TCU's issue is inconsistency on offense. If TCU can move the ball, this game could get very interesting.

TCU will win if Tommy Blake plays. They shut out Baylor without him. That won't happen @UT. They do have a dominating defense, though. They have won 5 straight vs. the Big 12. This could be 6.

Agreed on Carr, we were kicking that around Sat. night as well. He is done at Michigan.

As for TCU, heck yes they have more than a chance. Texas is in for a dogfight Sat. in Austin. If TCU wins, they may run the table & be in a position for an at-large BCS berth.

I don't think the Horns have their d fixed yet. If TCU hits on most of its cylinders it could stay tight.

I think for TCU to win....they will have to play at their very best.....and Texas would have to play like they did saturday. If Texas plays to the best of their ability......it should really be no contest. Arkansas State should have been a 55 - 3 kind of game. But i was at the game, and it seemed to me that they started the first 10 min of the game stellar...then just went to crap. The offensive play calling was crap and i think the defense just gave up at the end. They need to step their game up alot....they have WAYYY too much talent to play that poorly. But i'll take the win and hope that they do have a fire under their butts come tuesday.
