Not ready to give up the season yet. If they stink it up against TCU and CF, then you might be right about 4-5 losses.

They'll get 10 wins. All they have to do is get through TCU then they can build from there.

Went to last night's game and here's what I thought...

First of their defense is good, no doubt. Great linebackers and the secondary is very good Beasley at corner and Griffin at safety. The defensive line is big and fast and gets a lot of penatration...They have great backs with Jamaal Chalres leading the way and great recievers in Sweed and Cosby...But their biggest issue is....

COLT MCCOY!!! He played like he had never played a college game in his life! Their were a few times where he threw the ball into double coverage and a few times where he just threw the ball into lala land where no one was around...The way Texas plays revolves around Colt and he doesn't get it together than count Texas out of the BCS...

If Colt gets it together 10 - 1 with a loss to OK...If Colt continues to play like a sophmore in high school then look for the Longhorns to 8-4 maybe 7-5!!

gobbler84 maybe he was trying to hard...if that makes any sense. You must remember mack never opens the playbook against scrub teams.

I think Texas will be just fine. A team is always different in week one than in week five.

Honestly, I see a one- or two-loss season for Texas. I'm not sure if they'll lose to OU, but I honestly believe that the Big XII is the second- or third-best conference in the nation. With TCU on deck and all the tough games in conference, it won't be easy to navigate a perfect season.

But Colt winds up with 3k yards passing and 30 TD's and the Texas offense starts clicking by week three.

I'm thinking no more than two losses. They'll be fine. Next week will be a gooder one. :D

I think they will turn out OK. I guess it was just a shock because I(and most others) expected them to be a lot better then they were last night. we shall see if Colt has a sophomore slump or not. but they have other issues to correct besides him.

If they dont get their OL fixed
they may be lucky to get a bowl game
