Overall it wasn't the best week for Class 3A as a whole as no district made it through Week 0 completely unscathed. The good news is no district went completely winless either. The current W-L standings for each district are listed below.

Overall Class 3A teams went 81-80-0 in Week Zero
3A teams went:
16-27-0 against 4A teams
4-3-0 against Private schools
3-0-0 against out-of-state teams
The number of unbeaten teams fell from 174 to 94

2-4

Celina 19 Robinson 6
good game Robinson has to find some O
D played well

China Spring 14, Fairfield 0

Thought China was better
but a rare shutout for the D
O may not be as good

Liberty Hill 33, Waco Connally 13
a tale of 2 games
6-0 then 33-7
Connally is improved
Have size up front
My pick to make the playoffs

Waco LaVega 20, Marlin 12
a lot like last years game
LaVega went a while in the playoffs
are they the same? Marlin may be down a lil until the line solidifys

Groesbeck 14, Lorena 13
no passing game what so ever
had a punt blocked for a td
blocked pat and lose by one
neither team is very good
300 total yards by both teams vs weak d's
basketball season will be here soon if not now

Mexia 20, Gatesville 7
scored 1st but couldnt hold the Blackcats
Gatesville could be better
Better then Loena but not good enough to play 11
has all the talent dried up?
2000 State champs seems a long time ago
