K-State had this game won and self destructed right at the end. Freeman (QB) seemingly twisted his ankle and wasn't quite the same in the last Q.

Shame my butt. I loved it.

But seriously, we have a lot of work to do. Our offense looked horrible out there. Defense is just as physical as ever and (just like last year) bailed us out of a close game.

On a side note, after watching Freeman blow up at the end of last season, I knew he'd be an absolute stud this year. That kid (and he's only a soph) worried me more than anyone knows. An Elite 11 QB out of HS, we're watching the next big thing under center to come through Manhattan. Michael Bishop, Ell Roberson, and now Freeman.
