Every team remaining will lose one more game EXCEPT the State champs. To be the State champs you need 3 factors. Good coaching, talent, and some luck. No team has so much good coaching or talent to be champs without some lucky breaks. Most teams have already lost at least one game this year, so you are not unstoppable. More than one team is undefeated, but again, only one team will not lose from this point on. Anyone who says that they know they will be the State Champs at this point is just plain arrogant. This is not to say that we each may have our opion about who is best, but to state it as fact is wrong. My home team is the Decatur Eagles. I will not say they are the best, but they have no reason to fear anyone if they play to their potential. However, they had better respect EVERYONE who is still in the hunt. Forget season records at this point, it may be who can play the most consistant ball each week from here on out. Good luck to all!
