Is expected to be much bigger this year on both sides of the ball. They have 15 players over 200lbs. Some of the linemen are Echols - 225....Brodnex - 233...Morrison - 320...Methvin - 274...McGrew - 255...Baker - 243...Henry - 226...and Mendoza - 255 ..... Maldonado at 208 is supposed to be an excellent blocker as well.

I'll be at the Altus game. Cheers to the Lions and best of luck this season.

I'm very excited to see how we do. Curious about our QB. I hope they run a lot more option this year. If Williams is the QB he will be the biggest QB keeper threat that we will have had in a long time. Again we have the horses and the line, our offense should do well.

Can't wait to see them in action.

I'm hearing that Ryan Smith is also looking very good at QB. He is big at 209 lbs. and is supposedly a very efficient passer. Don't be supprised to see him come into some games.

Their offensive coordinator will be at the games this year in the regular season. The last three years he has been allowed to take Friday nights off to watch his son play QB in Electra, 23 miles away The entire district is made up of teams that can make some noise if they sneak in. WF Hirschi should be the third playoff team.

Burk could make the playoffs in this district as they had a real good JV squad last year. I wouldn't count the Bulldogs out of it, and with Burk's schedule (opening at Decatur) we will find out what type of team Burk will have.
Graham returns the house.... and they have size at WR and McCoy's son at QB has got to even be better as a soph. this year.

Hirschi lost Berry and another kid that made the offense tick for them. I look for Hirschi to miss the playoffs and the other 4 teams (Graham, Burkburnett, Iowa Park, Vernon) to take the 3 playoff spots.
This is a very, very competitive district.

This is a very, very competitive district. I picked Burk over Decatur as my upset of the week in Week 0. I didnt realize Hirshi was taking a step back.

I don't know if WF Hirschi will take a step back, but losing Berry (QB) and another kid made their offense go. It will be tough to replace those two kids.

Years ago, my son was listed at 155 and was 140 soaked~

I do think Vernon will have a dominate team this year. Go Lions!

We don't ever have sizes on our rosters. I think it's because some years, opposing fans would be hurting themselves laughing at the "lack of". ;)

You would think a football god could spell "does".
