Interesting Discussion over on the 4A board about 1st day enrollments.
Brownwood lion80 ,said Brownwood had 866 students for the first day. With last years low numbers averaged in with this years, it will be a sure fire bet for them to drop down to 3A.

So, it looks like Region 1 may get stronger next realignment.
What District do ya'll think they will be placed ?

That just means that there will be another top heavy region aside from Region IV.

I'd bet they'd get placed either with Abilene Wylie, Comanche and Sweetwater etc or with maybe Comanche, Glen Rose and a couple of others...

West Orange-Stark is one of those 4a powerhouses that comes to mind.

I also heard the same thing about La Marque might become 3a
