Don't get carried away yet. We look good now but no real games yet. The game to watch is Argyle Christian. They are picked to win the large private school state championship this year and those guys are pretty good. We handled Argyle and Bridgeport in the scrimmages but the truth is that neither has ever challanged us. Argyle is good and looks good this year. But I do not want to hang my hat on that. In 3a without the splits the large schools are tough and LH probably will be tough this year.
I do think the top 5 are really about a 5 way tie for first anyway.
Well maybe the top 4. I am not sure about Snyder or any team from region one just yet. But it strikes me as odd that Abilene Wylie is not at the top of the region.

pilot point beat argyle liberty in there scrimmage 5-2 but yes your right its not a real game yet.I just think this year is going to be like 2005.If they stay healthy they will be better than 2006.Celina did play like sh** in the state game last year.could not even make fg or extra points or convert many 4th and ones but on the flip side LH did have a great team so that had alot to do with it.

What I think that shows is that Pilot Point may be tough this year.
Argyle liberty was tough last year. Supposed to be tough this year. I think Pilot Point will give us fits and we have to play there this year. Of course being ten miles away means it is still a home game cause you know and I know that everybody that can go will go.

Ingleside #8? We have some great kids coming back, but I think there's still a nice little gap between us and the truly elite teams. Hopefully, that Robinson game last year woke the guys up and they're ready for a team like that the next time they run into one.

These rankings actually look pretty good, with the exception of Ingleside. They are overrated in this poll, just like all the other polls.
