Its a preseason game....take it for what its worth..

it may be preseason but i do like what i have seen from the texans so far this year in the preseason....i dont expect playoffs or anything crazy like that but i think they have an 8-8 team in them which is a huge step forward....

on another note - i hate losing even if it is just a scrimmage

sometimes in scrimmages (personal experience) if a team gets a little too full of themselves a coach doesn't mind a bad game to bring them back to Earth just a tad...it gives them something to yell about

its pretty much first string against first string and the texans are definitely dominating...the D is steppin up for the Texas...and Demarcus Ware for the Boys is awesome...James is laying some licks..

It is 1's vs. 1's but there really isn't much scheming or game planning going on...its just vanilla stuff...give the Texans credit they are playing well, but as a Dallas fan I'm not gonna get too alarmed....

now if this was Week 1 I'd be mad

Interesting the texans are dominating yet they only lead by 8 and one td was a punt return....

any time the texans are winning by double digits means they are dominating .......this coming from a losing team

and notice i said "dominating" not "dominated" which means currently as in the game was still in progress so that doesnt exclude a comeback

u know as well as i do, they fall apart in the 2nd half

but also i was talking about 1st stringers......

i dont care if dallas' 2nd string makes a comeback on the texans 2nd string

still only practice ............ no matter who was dominating

which is an excellent point considering the two offenses. We can expect the Texans to be somewhat vanilla this year as they've struggled through the years and now have a new QB learning a system.

The Cowboys on the other hand are a much older team, so they have a lot more "trickery" if you will in their regular game plan.

I don't want to take any credit away from Houston for their play last night (heck, I'm thinking about picking Ahman Green for my fantasy team after the way he was running), but at the same time, I think what we saw is more indicative of the types of plays you can expect to see from the Texans all year while the Cowboys have a more detailed playbook that we won't really see until the season gets going.

I know that, and I know that the Cowboys will be better than the Texans this season but you have to take pride when you can, and it is enjoyable even though it is just a mere scrimmage.

On a high note, I do think the Cowboys D will play better than that, but besides the int, Romo looked pretty good.

the colts never played Manning over one drive in any of those games, how do u expect them to win that way?

The Texans and boys played their starters for over half the game, and also i never said it meant anything and i also said that the Cowboys are better than the Texans but that doesnt mean that they can't take pride in it.

I didnt get to catch much of the game, but I know all the starters didnt play. Say what you will....preseason games mean nothing.

I just heard on the radio that it wasn't considered a sack since Romo fumbled the ball first.
