Red=QB. He is about 4.5-5 yards back so it's not the pistol.

Jasper ran that last year and I believe it to be absolutely the worst offensive formation I have ever seen.

J formation from the 70's
there is a lot of names depending on your terms

examples
twins rt weak I gun
left away gun I
3 weak I
1 strong 2 weak

a lot of names

even colors
blue weak
red I
Green strong twins

the formation isnt the bad thing
what do you actually do out of it
or more importantly what you CANT do out of it

Jasper ran that formation with the deepest back over 10 yards from the line of scrimmage. He was about 6'3" and 240. It didn't work at all.

Ya I don't see it working with a big power back. Our running back is like 5'8" 145 and really fast so we were able to run with it pretty good against Wylie.
