I hate nascar watch a car go in a circle for hours.

Real, but yes, you can get dizzy watching...the road courses are pretty cool.

Just overheard a debate on the subject, and was wondering what the consensus was.

Yeah there are orders being given to 43 cars going 200 mph around a track as to who finishes were..very believable.

Well what about when drivers wreck another driver so another driver can win. And things of that nature. Just thought that was an intersting point of the conversation. And the fact that 35 of the top finishers from the week before automatically qualify leaving 11 spots for others to fill in.

You are so wrong.

Top 35 in Owner Points automatically qualify, not the Top 35 finishers from the week before.

And 43 cars, not 46.

Because golfers don't wear beer signs on their shirts!

True..usually just a couple big sponsors in golf and not 43 like nascar. the ones who pay the big bucks expect to see their cars on the track every week. it is in nascar's best interest to insure top 35 in owners' point are in the field. no complaints here about that.

Unless you are a better driver without the financial support.

Like I said...I am not a big Nascar fan. I watch it occasionally, but have never really jumped into it. So I dont know. Just think it would be a little more exciting for the fans if everyone had to qualify except maybe the winner from the week before. Then they could pack people in for the qualifiers(if they dont already). Just a thought.
