I got NCAA 2008 and Rainbow Six to start, as well as Halo 2 to play before 3 comes out

i will grab FEAR for cheap, and also get Gears of War at some point in the next month or two

I really want Call of Duty 4, too

Uhmmmm no. It is one of the most overrated games ever though because the gameplay is horrible. It is still the best looking game until Halo 3 and CoD come out.

Hey Emerson, I just got my 360 Elite today. I haven't hooked it up to Xbox live yet though. I've been playing ncaa and having to relearn how to play it because it is quite different from the regular xbox. Thanks for the advice a few months ago on what to get, this thing is awesome!

There is no discernible quality that makes it stand out among other shooters. The multiplayer even sucks. I am glad I played it a friends house before I wasted money on it for my own. Rainbow six is a lot of fun though.

If the game play is horrible, then how is it the best looking game to date? Everything about GOW is terrible. Not fun, bad gameplay, graphics suck, etc....a waste of money if you ask me.

Uhm, gameplay is how the game plays, not how it looks. Look on any review, they have a category for gameplay and graphics. You can have awesome gameplay and subpar graphics, or crappy gameplay and awesome graphics.

The graphics are still some of the best on a xbox 360 game, it of course is slowly sliding down with games like BioShock and Halo 3 coming out.

I am aware of the way they rate games. I am also aware of a statement like "best looking game out" typically meaning an overall measure of the game. Atleast that was my take on what you said. And no the grahics were not that great. Besides, I would rather have a game with smooth gameplay and good storyline, than a crappy game with "above average" graphics. Like I said....a waste of money. Unless you just like looking at the game rather than playing it.
