There will be three teams playing tonight. It will be Sinton who will be good this year along with a good Yorktown team and my old alma mater Freer who has won a volleyball state championship. It should be great. I plan to be there.

The games start at 4:30 P.M. I think the schedule will be like last year in that first Freer will play Sinton, then Freer will play Yorktown and then Yorktown will play Sinton.

ROFLMAO!

When I left (yes, I had to do something else) Sinton was up 2 games to 1 over Yorktown. I'm pretty sure they beat Freer 3-0 in the earlier game.

Sorry, I didn't come over and say "HI" Phil - you looked pretty busy!! :D

Yes Sinton beat my alma mater Freer 3 to 0. In the second match against Yorktown the Lady Bucks played much better losing the match 4 to 1 but the points didn't come easy and two of the games were very close.
When Sinton played Yorktown they won 4 to 1. The last game was close till about the 12th points and then Sinton went away from them winning the game and the match.

Good volleyball playing.

I didn't get to make the 9th grade or JB matches but was told that Sinton won all of those matches also. I do know that the Sinton Freshmen and Freer Freshmen match went to the final game with Sinton winning 18 to 16. So Freer has a good 9th grade team and with a great 8th grader coming to high school next year Freer should start having some really good teams in 2A.

So I'll break my silence now...

I've been a big spectator for a couple years under a few other names and have been hesitant to reply in fear of upsetting the masses and jerk moderators (LOL j/k). :p

Anyhow, I'm a Freer-rite... and yeah, the V-ball prgm will have some really nice teams in the next few years (Barring any injuries).

Nice. So you figured the best way to break the ice was to refer to us mods as jerks!! Very clever.

Please let me know when Freer's homecoming game is this year when you find out. I am going to try to make that one if I can.
