Another tough Non District for WOS. All 4A teams in non district. Bay City has a new coach and WOS is young this year. Hard to predict this one.

WOS is on the rise again ....to the team they were a handful of years back.....just curious...what did graduation do to them this year? I was under the impression they didnt lose much and what they did...they had replaced.

I will take Bay City in this one,the new coach will have the city cats looking like the old Bay City teams.The cats also have a tough non district schedule st pius,waller,wos,brenham,cuero.

I'll take WOS BIG over a rebuilding Bay City team with a new coach. Just not the same Blackcats as years past right now.

Not sure if going yet...

WOS has 4 starters back on Offense which includes the best running back in Southeast Texas in DePauldrick Garrett. Garrett rushed for 1,327 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2006 and made first team all-district.

Defense has 3 starters back.

As a team they will be young, but will be very good again.

The blackcats have 8 off/9def starters back 7 of those kids on defense are 3 yr starters they won't have to rebuild long.

i think the speed of WOS will be the game changing factor in a win over Bay City...

If it comes down speed in this game,then bay city runs away with it.Bay City slowest kid on defense will be dt mitch kimberling 6-4 285 5.1.
