Got an email that Colt went down today and the Horns will be forced into playing one of the other QB's this season or at least at the start of it.
Any truth to this????

I hope not...I don't want there being any excuse when the Ags roll over the Horns at Kyle Field this season.

I just confirmed that Harris went down with a severe sprain and that Colt is fine and is ready to hang half a hundred on the ags, unless they use another cheap shot..........

I might be able to buy that load of garbage if the cheap shot occurred at the beginning of the game, but it occured after he threw an int at the end. And I would be surprised if he could hang a tenth of a hundred behind that inexperienced line thay have.

The cheap shot issue is DEAD. Move on!
Not touching this one.
If he got hurt (doubtful) in practice when the qb is off-limits, then Mack will be disciplining more players! I still say Harris will be the #2 & Chiles moves to another position too.
I hope he stays healthy & the game in November means something for the standings, personally. That's what it is all about.

"injury" doesn't mean it came from another player though...a wrong turn on a knee can do tons of damage!

True, & still not likely. Colt is fine & won't be hit until the 1st game. And not much in that laugher!
Now against TCU - he will be hit often & that will be a good football game in Austin Sept. 8th. I say Texas in a close one, 24-17.

A&M's season will not matter one iota after the Red Raiders continue to dominate the Aggies. So the Texas game will just be a grudge match where the Aggies try to save their coach's job. :D

Ags are mad because they are ranked behind TCU. And Texas will need colt if they are to beat TCU. Last 4 games vs. Big 12= TCU-4 and Big 12- 0.

I actually think this game depends on how ATM's season is going. if they are at .500 and playing the spoiler role( which they have been for 7 years) then this game will be close being at Kyle Field. If they only have 1 or 2 losses and they are playing for a chance to get in the big 12 championship and BCS bowl like UT will be then I think the longhorns will have an easier time. ATM seems to play better at home when they are not expected to win. just my 2 cents.

Hope it is for the conference championship! I firmly believe that Fran is coaching for his job this year. It is his 5th year, full recruiting cycle, veteran team, no more excuses. Brutal road schedule could spell doom or it will pave the way for future success. No middle ground there for me.
