Shrek was there over the weekend, but it's Jack now...

There are two possible causes for this:

1. You've changed from one computer to another, and upon log-in, your preferences reverted to what you had saved on that particular computer

2. The link to your avatar (the image) is on a host that has switched images. For example, if your image is www.images.com/image1.jpg, then if the website host changes their content of that image for one reason or another, it would change your avatar as well.

if you're really wanting to find out, you could always log out of the downlow, clear your cookies on your computer, and log back in to see if it changes back to what you had yesterday.

It was awful! (Okay, not really.....) Something apparently got stuck in my cache (do NOT ask me what it is or where to find it). I don't remember exactly WHAT the picture was, but it was some picture of the A&M football team. Every single time I read one of KTJ's posts, that Aggie picture was in his sig instead of his Longhorn one. And I was the ONLY person that saw it. :crazy1: :crazy1: :D

Yes, avatars are UPLOADS to the downlow server and should stay. However, we are on a temporary host and I think there wasn't enough room for everyhing, My avatar isn't even showing up unless I click on "show picture". All will be back to normal when we get back on our own server. Bear with us.

It's less than 50-50 for me...when I post, the avatars usually disappear, but if I click on a thread from the forum, the avatars are usually there.
