not that I really care about VB :D, but this is a public service ... here is the 3A preseason VB poll

I'm not sure how many starters the Bellville varsity has returning, but I do know the freshman and j.v. both had outstanding records last year. I think the freshman only lost a couple of games to 4A or 5A teams.

They will be good again.

Hard to say, pooch. Only two seniors on team. One starts and will play all rotations. Other five positions will be battled for between jrs and sophs.

When looking at returning starters, I guess, it's like three. One played all rotations, one played just front row and one played just back row. (So maybe that equals out to just two starters.)

I think they will definitely struggle early part of season when they play all the five A schools. They should be playing well by the time district rolls around though as always.

i can promise you giddings won't be up there...looks like we'll be the smithville of volleyball...it will be a tough year...


but on that note its hard to win when the coach sits in the stands during practice and makes htem scrimmage the entire time and then lets a senior pick who palys and who sits...

Did not realize Canyon was a power in vball as well. They can hoop!!!

Oh yes they are impressive, the same girls that can hoop can play vball too, way to go Canyon Lady Eagles.

They dominated 4a for years, have not seen them play in a LONG time, but can not imagine how dominate they are in 3a. WOW!!!

the girls program in canyon is top notch, i would say its more powerful than the boys program.
