View Full Version : "Lucky" items or traditions

I know several of us have those game day things we always make sure are checked off. Whether it's always wearing the same garment(s), making sure you listen to a certain song, always eating a certain thing, lots of us have them. So, I have a question....okay, make that some questions. :D

If you have a "lucky" garment or tradition, does it start over each year? If it's an item that has to be replaced, does it need to be the exact same item? Or does the luck run out with that particular one, and a new lucky garment needs to be found? Is it really the item itself or is it the mentality of luck that makes it lucky?

Enquiring minds want to know. :)

When I played I used to keep my wristbands a certain way and have my back protector showing. I felt it would throw my game off if I didn't.

Not Texas football, but a funny football tradition none the less.
