I'll check with my brother who lives in Seguin - seems there is/was a place on the main drag - but that was back in the mid 90's -

thanks.
we went to Schlitterbahn on the 20th July and were flooded out after only 2 hours. we had to spend 3 hours in the covered game room area waiting out the downpour. they finally closed the park and promised rainchecks. we just recieved the vouchers in the mail yesterday and are going to try it out again next week. weather.com shows sunny weather. now maybe this time i can have some good German food without risk of being stuck there.

I remember we stopped and ate in New Braunfels for supper in the early 1960s. I was with my parents and we were coming back home to Freer from visiting relatives in East Texas. I don't remember the name of the place but they had German food and it was great. After the great meal we got back into the car and headed South to Freer and home.
