Saw this on the 4A Site... decided to copy it...

Best Total H.S.football atmosphere (band, fans, Music, team, food)

and unless their food sucks... I'd have to say La Maquina Amarilla of Edcouch takes this hands down

Actually, my favorite was Brownsville Porter. The fans were cooking barbecue on the top row of the stands!

I've never seen EE fans in action, but of the teams that I have seen I'd rank Port Isabel & Cuero up at the top!!

I thought that Stephenville's fans were crazy during Jevan Snead's senior season...it was hard to talk to your neighbor, and most of the fans were standing the entire game during the playoffs.

When Gonzales has a playoff bound team nad especially if the district championship comes down between them ad Cuero. It's a packed house loud and pretty heated both on and off the field.

Cuero- Calallen games too are pretty intense.

a game that needs to be revisited Win or lose this was a great series for both teams. Amazing in that Cuero gives Calallen a better game than alot of 5A's.

Yeap, Tarpon Fans can get a little fanatic.. Where do I start? lol however, I have to say we are a little deficient in the food dept.

I can’t believe that, cooking in the stands??? That sounds a little against the rules.

Plus in Port Isable after the game you can go across the bridge to South Padre Island and enjoy the Pelican West band at their place just south of the Radissen Hotel.

Hey Big if you or any of your friends are going to South Padre Island during the spring break be sure to stop by the Pelican West place and enjoy the band. They are just south of the Radisson Hotel.

The Sweeny/Columbia game is always crazy. Mostly the craziness is before the game when people grafitti one school and throw dog poo at the other and stuff, but the atmosphere at the game is pretty good.

Port Isabel side atmosphere is awesome, especially during playoffs!

Just ask the folks from Liberty Hill, Rice Consolidated, Marlin, Bandera, Sinton, etc. etc.
